MII Accredited Training
Acrux Consulting Ltd is approved by the Mediators Institute of Ireland (MII) to provide MII Certified Mediation training. Successful completion of this 60-hour course, which includes both classroom and online learning, qualifies participants to apply Practitioner Membership of the MII. The MII is Ireland's leading professional body for mediators.
MII Mediators are trained to a high standard and are obliged to adhere to a strict code of practice which provides reassurance to any party using an MII Mediator. By having MII accreditation, MII mediators satisfy the obligations set out in Sections 8 and 9 of the Mediation Act 2017.
In accordance with Section 8 of the Mediation Act 2017, a Mediator is obliged to furnish to the parties the following details of the mediator that are relevant to mediation in general or that particular mediation:
(i) qualifications;
(ii) training and experience;
(iii) continuing professional development training, and
(iv) furnish to the parties a copy of any code of practice to which he or she subscribes in so far as mediation is concerned.
